It is truly said that the more the advancements, the more the chaos, the more the complexity. Currently, we are trying to introduce all kinds of technology to make our lives easier; to quench our thirst for more, to create new things to satisfy ourselves. Yet, it has lead us to a complete chaos. Us, humans can never be satisfied, can never feel complete- it is in our nature. However, there is only one thing that can bring us complete peace and contentment, which nothing else on this earth can: The Quran.
Believe me, you will never find inner peace unless you pick up the Book of Allah (swt), and read what your Creator has said to you. Sometimes it’s almost unbelievable that a single book can provide you with solutions you’ve been searching all your life! The Quran is a magnificent piece of writing that contains the world inside it; it covers every facet of life- political, social, educational, etc. It is a miraculous Book containing this whirlwind of information.
if you’re ever in a rut, confused, or looking for some magical advice to sort all your problems, then just open the Quran randomly and read- just read. And while reading, you will find your answer, your solution.
I remember my 9th-ninth grade teacher telling me something that is imprinted in my mind and I can never forget it. She said that if you’re ever in a rut, confused, or looking for some magical advice to sort all your problems, then just open the Quran randomly and read- just read. And while reading, you will find your answer, your solution.
It seems impossible, but itis true. We must not forget that Allah (swt), our Cherisher and Sustainer, is the brilliant, staggering author of His Book, and that this book isn’t ordinary, it is a living miracle.
To me, Quran has been the most approachable book. Read it and you will feel rejuvenated; you’ll be tranquilized and a sensation of completeness will ripple inside of you. It changes your perspective about things; it removes the blindfold of this temporary world that has been there on your eyes. It is that small flicker of light you see in an ocean of darkness; it’s not magic, but a living fraction of Allah’s (swt) undoubted, immense capability and power in front of you.
So don’t just think of it as an alienated book to be read only in Ramadan, or kept on a dusty bookshelf, or to be only used by your parents. Instead, pick it up and read it. Marvel at the mind-blowing words of Allah (swt), and get loaded with inner satisfaction that you’ve never experienced before- the unique satisfaction!
