Review of the magazine: - The quality is good. Every Muslim should believe in quality.
- Make it a monthly magazine, so more people can benefit.
- Should employ full-time people.
- Every article should contain references of the Quran and Sunnah to ensure authenticity.
- Post full articles on the website, so more people can benefit from the articles. (It affects only 15% - 20% in sales of the magazine.)
- Don’t give a one-sided story and always aim for the truth (i.e., the Quran and Sunnah).
- Individuals need to stay on the truth. As Allah (swt) says in the Quran: “Truth (i.e. Islamic Monotheism or this Quran or Jihad against polytheists) has come and Batil (falsehood, e.e. Satan or polytheism) has vanished. Surely Batil is ever bound to perish.” (Al-Isra, 17:81)
- What we require in this day and age is a current affairs magazine (similar to “Times”) that gives unbiased views of the current affairs.
Message for the “Hiba” readers: It is of primary importance that the Muslims be united. If they are united, they can be a stronger force. Other Testimonials from our Readers: Remarkably, “Hiba” magazine is doing a wonderful job in the present-day world by publishing immensely thought-provoking articles with very well-meant messages, when it is really hard to utter a single word of truth. And it is a fact that, while speaking the truth, it is not possible for one to remain neutral. So I really appreciate their efforts. I just want to make one suggestion that “Hiba” magazine should initiate a series on great personalities, in which they should introduce to our new generation great personalities of the Muslim world and from the West - so that our new generation can learn the messages from the lives of such great people. Mr. Fahimuddin Lecturer Department of International Relations University of Karachi **** It was at my university’s library, where I got my hands on a copy of “Hiba” magazine for the first time, and I was utterly impressed by the great job you are doing. A big ‘thumbs up’ to you and your team!
Ever since I have come back to Pakistan from Canada, where I spent seven years of my youth, I have been mostly disappointed with the way the society and its morality are shaping up. Generally speaking, the middle and upper classes are constantly moving away from religion, sometimes under the shadow of modernity and liberalism and sometimes under the shadow of the so-called enlightened moderation. I am not flattering, but in these times of disarray, organizations like yours are carrying the heavy task of building the nation and bringing to them the message of Islam, by addressing social and contemporary issues in the light of religion. Thanks a lot for that! I hope and pray that Allah (swt) continues to guide you in your efforts and grants you success and eternal satisfaction.
Salman Raza Assistant Product Manager, Debit Cards “Standard Chartered” bank **** It is a good quality magazine from seriously committed people. It is not a society magazine but a magazine, which can improve the quality of your life by enhancing your social consciousness to a higher level.
