If you're one of the veteran subscribers, you must have noticed that with each issue of "Hiba" we try to include something extra - information on Quran classes, Dua cards, brochures and other Islamic mailers. Our intention, of course, is to give our readers something to read beyond the magazine itself.
For some time, "Hiba" was able to purchase these brochures and pamphlets, and provide them complimentary to the subscribers. However, with the current finances, it has become impossible to purchase / photocopy the brochures/cards. Moreover, "Hiba" also has to pay the dispatchers - individuals who put these brochures in every envelope sent to the subscriber.
In the light of the above situation, we are appealing for non-Zakat donations. Do contribute towards Islamic mailers - the amount does not have to be very big. And if you have a favourite brochure or Dua card which you would like to be distributed to our subscribers, please do let us know at the time of donating, and we will Insha'Allah send it out.
If you're based in Karachi, we can have your contribution collected from your doorstep through our personal courier.
If you're outside Karachi, but within Pakistan, you can either snail mail a demand draft to us; or get in touch with our Lahore representative, Aliya Asif.
You can also donate by depositing your contribution in any branch of Muslim Commercial Bank within Pakistan (our account number is 1407-3) and emailing us a scan of the deposit slip.
