By Naheed Ansari Chicken Sandwich What you need: For Cajun seasoning: Paprika powder 2 tbsp Salt 2 tbsp Garlic powder 2 tbsp Black pepper powder 1 tbsp Cayenne pepper 1 tbsp Onion powder 1 tbsp Oregano leaves (dried) 1 tbsp Thyme leaves (dried) 1 tbsp For honey-mustard dressing: Mayonnaise 2 tbsp Honey 1 tbsp Mustard paste 1 tsp White vinegar 1 tsp Paprika powder ¼ tsp For Cajun chicken: Chicken breast 1 Burger bun 1 Cheese slice 1 Tomato (sliced) 1 Iceberg lettuce 1 What you do: Mix all the ingredients of Cajun seasoning. Mix all the ingredients of honey-mustard dressing in a glass bowl. Refrigerate for half an hour. Slice the chicken breast into two pieces. Dust with Cajun dressing and rub with oil. Heat a frying fan. Cook for two minutes on each side. Cut the buns. Spread 1 tsp honey-mustard dressing on both halves. Place the chicken breast on the bottom half of the bun and top with cheese, tomato and iceberg lettuce. Reuben Submarine What you need: French bread or long rolls 2 slices or 1 roll Hunter beef/chicken (minced) as required Margarine 8 oz Ketchup 8 tbsp Salt and pepper ½ tsp each Mustard ½ tsp Cheese (grated) 1 cup Capsicum (sliced) 1 Tomatoes (sliced) 1 Onions (finely chopped) 4 tbsp What you do: Mix salt, pepper, mustard and ketchup in margarine. Spread over the roll/bread. Fry onions in 2 tbsp oil. Place boiled chicken or hunter beef on top of it. Cover with tomatoes, cheese and capsicum. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes, till the cheese melts. Slice and spread on top of the roll/bread. |
